The Mummies made their first appearance on the episode of the mystery celebrity singing competition that aired on October 5, performing a cover of the theme tune from The Monkees.
Their performance had a lot of enthusiasm, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to save them. After being eliminated by the studio audience’s vote, The Mummies revealed themselves to be The Brady Bunch actors Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, and Mike Lookinland. During the long-running comedy, Williams, Knight, and Lookinland played Greg, Peter, and Bobby, respectively.

According to Barry, “I was excited to do it because it is the most unique chance that the show business has to offer, and it is something that I have always wanted to accomplish.” “To go out and have the freedom of expression, sing, and dance about while also participating in a competition was something that appealed to me on every single level, and I was excited about the opportunity. When the phone rang, I was overjoyed to answer it. I believe that it was a fortunate coincidence that the three of us were able to work on it together.”
