The Villains of Valley View Season 2 Storyline
The Maddens have just settled in Valley View, Texas. Vic and Eva, the parents, describe how their family is much like any other during a movie night. When Jake, the eldest son, lifts up the couch to get the remote, their couch time is literally upended. Supervillains disguised as a family are operating in the shadows. Her granddaughter Hartley recognizes Amy but has no idea where she has seen her before.
Their landlord Celia enters with her granddaughter. A flashback begins as Hartley inquires as to the circumstances leading up to the family’s decision to settle down in Valley View. In the city of Centropolis, two weeks ago, we witness the family as they really are. All five of Vic’s children have special powers: Kraniac (Vic), Surge (Eva), Chaos (Jake), Amy (Havoc), and Colby. The supervillain leader Onyx passes over Amy for a promotion, and Amy says that she has been passed over, and she makes a remark that they should retire.
At school, Amy has already used her sonic abilities to cause havoc by setting the bell for an earlier time than usual. Having just finished a book called “How to Be a Better Person,” Jake recommends to Amy that she read it because she puts the family at risk every time she utilizes her skills. As Jake introduces Amy to Hartley, Amy agrees to meet up with him after school, and Jake convinces Amy to do the same.
At school, Vic built a secret lab in the basement and used a microwave to develop a gadget that could zap someone into another dimension. Amy and Jake were unaware of this. As a result of his powers, Colby has the capacity to transform into anything he desires. Vic, Eva, and Colby decide to use Colby’s new powers to scare others around them.
When Hartley returns from the Sunshine Club meeting, she makes Amy an honorary member by handing her the same hat that she wears. “Catching Up with the Supers,” a reality show about superheroes, is Hartley’s favorite. This makes Amy angry because Hartley is bragging about Starling, Amy’s archrival who is talking about her victory over Havoc (Amy’s supervillain alias).
Despite Jake’s best efforts, Amy snatches Vic’s device and runs back to the living room, despite Jake’s best efforts. In their struggle, Jake accidentally pushes the button, which zaps Hartley away. It looks like Vic and Eva have a new pet, but the dog they’re bringing in is actually Colby in a disguise. Vic heads to the lair to construct a gadget that can bring her back after Jake and Amy tell him what occurred.
Colby has morphed into Eva to avoid Celia calling the cops when she arrives looking for Hartley. To get Hartley’s attention, Celia tells Eva that Hartley has a dental appointment, and Eva uses her talents to induce an electrical surge, informing Celia that she needs to replace her home’s flickering lights. Vic becomes bewildered since the new device he creates looks just like the last one.
Amy becomes trapped in the other dimension with Hartley after using the wrong one. Breaking apart of the dimension has begun and pebbles are flying around. Amy utilizes her abilities to break up a large boulder that is headed their way, and Hartley learns where she first met Amy.
Hartley now understands Amy’s true identity: she is Havoc. During a conversation with Onyx, Amy claims that she became so enraged that she used her talents to harm him. They fled to Valley View to avoid his wrath after he promised to wipe out the entire family. Jake and the other device arrive just in time to save them.
