Even though The Voice Season 22 hasn’t finished airing yet, we already have some exciting news about the show’s following season: NBC has revealed that the Coach’s lineup for The Voice Season 23 will undergo a minor adjustment in 2023. Everything that we know is listed down below.
The Voice Season 23 New Coaches?
Blake Shelton has confirmed that he will be on The Voice for one final season, Season 23. (yes, you read that right). On the other hand, after a little break, Kelly Clarkson will return to her signature red chair and begin performing once more. In addition, music industry heavyweights Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper will be making their first appearances on the show as part of the cast.
Chance said, “I couldn’t be more excited to join The Voice as a Coach for the upcoming season.” “I couldn’t be more excited to assist other artists in reaching their full potential and getting the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Prepare to join us on #TeamChance!
Horan said in his statement, “I’m happy to be joining this season of The Voice as a Coach. I can’t wait to get started.” While we go head to head with the other teams, I can’t wait to get to know the up-and-coming talent and help them develop their skills.
Fans are already familiar with Shelton and Clarkson in their roles as Coaches, but we are just as anxious to see what Horan and Chance bring to the table with their tremendous histories as we are to hear what they have to offer.

More About Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper
Horan is no stranger to music competition series, as his now-famous boy band, One Direction, was initially discovered on the British reality show The X Factor in 2010, when they went on to win the competition. (The famed judge on America’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell, was instrumental in locating and managing the band.) Their accomplishments include six Billboard Top 100 hits, four Video Music Awards, four albums that topped the charts, and four world tours that were completely sold out. According to Billboard, they are “one of the most successful boy bands in the history of music.” Following the group’s official dissolution in 2016, Horan embarked on a fruitful solo career and has since released two albums that have been met with critical acclaim.
Now, let’s talk about the rapper Chance the Rapper. Colouring Book, now considered the native Chicagoan’s most successful mixtape, was initially released by him as an independent artist on SoundCloud before eventually gaining widespread popularity. It was the first album to debut on the Billboard charts that were only available through streaming, and it received 57 million streams in its first week of release. Colouring Book was the album that won him three Grammys, including the Best New Artist award, making him the first male rapper to win the category. Chance has also participated in several music competition shows, recently serving as a Judge on the reality rap competition series Rhythm + Flow, shown on Netflix.
It is, therefore, safe to assume that the level of competition in Season 23 will be exceptionally high. When choosing the best team for the Coaches, we don’t believe in the slightest bit of envy of the next group of musicians who will be auditioning.
