This next weekend will mark the debut of Vet Fest 2022 at its brand-new home in Leesburg. In addition, there are a lot of Halloween events that are winding down, and many of them feature spooky adventures that the whole family may enjoy.
Vet Fest Lake County
Boone Cutler will be the featured speaker at the Vet Fest gala on Friday night. On Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m., veterans will lead a ride to honor all those who have served their country. Mount Dora AMVETS Post 1992, 32201 AMVETS Way, is the starting point.
The day begins with a bang around 10:30 a.m. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office will give free escorted rides to the Memorial Wall location at Gator Harley Davidson, where there will be performances and merchandise for sale.

Boo Fest
On Friday, from 6 until 9 o’clock in the evening, Wooton Park and Downtown Tavares will play host to the seventh annual BOO! Festival. Participate in activities such as “Trunk-or-Treat,” play games, listen to music, see live performances, and sample delicious food from local vendors.
Boo Bash
On Saturday, from nine in the morning until twelve, the Towne Square in Downtown Leesburg will be the location of the Boo Bash, which is being hosted by the Leesburg Partnership. The event will feature local businesses, civic groups, and city departments.
They will hand out candy and offer exciting activities for children to participate in. In addition, there will be a costume parade that will begin in Towne Square and end on the steps of Town Hall for the contest.
Annual Downtown Clermont Harvest Festival
On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Clermont Main Street will host the annual Downtown Clermont Harvest Festival. This festival is a celebration of the autumn season. There is going to be fun for the whole family planned. There will be 150 different vendors present at the event.
Nightmare on the Clermont Trails 5K
This Saturday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Victory Pointe in Clermont, there will be a frightfully fun twilight 5K run/walk that will have multiple interactive spook zones along the course. Participants are strongly encouraged to dress up, and there will be rewards, both monetary and otherwise, for the finest costumes in a number of different categories.
Halloween Pub Crawl and Movie Night
Have a fun adult night out after you’ve spent the morning of Saturday taking the kids to Boo Bash! The Halloween Pub Crawl and Movie Night in Downtown Leesburg gets underway at 6 p.m., and the showing of Poltergeist begins in Towne Square at 8:30 p.m.
‘The Diary of Anne Frank’

Manor of Madness
This next weekend is the final opportunity to catch the Manor of Madness at the Melon Patch Theatre in Leesburg between the hours of 7 and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday of the week. As the theatre is transformed into a terrifying haunted house, you are invited to embark on a terrifying journey into lunacy.
Living Drama Theatre
This weekend, the Living Drama Theatre in Eustis will play host to three different performances, including a symphony, a tribute to Elton John, and rock and roll oldies. The Magic of Mendelssohn will be performed by the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra on October 27 at 7:30 p.m., and Carl Topilow, the guest conductor of the Cleveland Pops, will be leading the orchestra.
Dwight Icenhower will pay tribute to Elton John by performing the musician’s most famous songs on Friday evening at 7 o’clock. Songs from the 1950s through the 1970s are featured on the album Solid Gold Hits, which is a musical journey through the decades hosted by Stevie G and Rich Wilson. On October 29 at 7 o’clock, it will be performed onstage.
