In True Beauty (season 2), there is the second season of the reality television series. The competitors are vying for the title of “Beautiful” in a similar manner to last season’s. While individuals believe they are just being judged on their outside appearance, the judges are really analysing both their inner and exterior attractiveness.
Beth Ostrosky Stern and Carson Kressley were among those that judged the second season of True Beauty in Las Vegas in October 2009. ABC producers informed entrants they would be participating in a new modelling reality programme called Face of Vegas as a ploy to keep them unaware of the genuine concept of the show.
Additionally, until they were eliminated, participants had no contact with Vanessa Minnillo, the lone returning judge from the previous season. Every episode had a big hidden-camera task that all of the candidates had to face. Most of the time, the “last straw” challenge was only given to the candidates in the bottom two positions. It was announced that the second season will launch on May 31st, 2010, and it did just that.
True Beauty Season 2 Storyline And Characters
The participants are given a $200 budget and 20 minutes to design a Vegas-inspired outfit with the help of a phoney stylist recruited by the producers. The stylist allows each player to take one item that costs more than their budget in order to get an advantage in the game.
The stylist’s item is accepted by Liz, Michael, Craig, and JD, who are all caught on hidden cameras breaking the rules. To compete, the hopefuls don their attire and are escorted into the streets of Las Vegas in glass boxes. Those passing by are given a token that they may use to vote for their favourite contender.
All of the characters dressed up for the occasion:
- Amy as a bride
- Craig as cowboy
- David as Elvis
- Erika as Marilyn Monroe
- JD as drag queen
- Liz as glittery go-go dancer
- Michael as pimp
- Michelle as a pin-up girl
- Regina as Lady Luck
- Taylor as a rocker!
Liz is the challenge winner thanks to her bold and revealing (but stolen) look. The two contestants with the fewest tokens, David and JD, are doomed to go home.
The last straw has already been dealt with by the participants. a lady whose dog’s leash got in the path of them as they tried to go inside the shop where they established their characteristic look JD helped her untie herself as David walked around her, insisting he was too busy to help. Amy, Craig, and Michelle all failed to assist her in following episodes. It’s a first-round elimination for the last two contestants.
JD says that his desire to dress in drag demonstrates how much he wants to win, while David thinks that his Elvis attire better suited the Las Vegas theme. According to the authorities, David is secure since he had not taken anything. The clip of JD accepting the additional item out of budget is displayed to the audience.

Will True Beauty Season 2 Come To An End?
When the participants were taken to a hangar, it was explained that they would be able to take advantage of the Vegas nightlife while simultaneously entertaining Steve-O and Guy Friendly, his spiritual adviser. After a wild night out with the duo, the participants were notified at 6 am that they would have to participate in their next assignment, making a commercial for Las Vegas, without the possibility to sleep.
Even though only Erika objected, the judges were curious to see how the candidates would behave in this unusual circumstance. They told the candidates that all three of them had won the task; no one would be removed prior to the final judgement in order to select the overall winner.
Beth and Carson offered each candidate a key to the judges’ “spy room” after the task. At that point, a video of Vanessa Minnillo explaining the competition’s true purpose showed on the screen. They were then given a video of themselves behaving in a poor way.
All three judges met the competitors for the first time during the final judgement. After the judges inquired about particular parts of their conduct, the candidates argued their arguments. Asked if any of her actions were phoney, Erika pleaded that she had matured as a person and saw the possibility for greatness in herself as a result of the experience. Asked about his lack of self-love, Craig said, “I had missed the purpose.” He returned the vest he took in the first episode, which he had stolen from another contestant.
When Taylor was confronted with the outburst, he said he wanted to be a role model and apologised. After much deliberation, the panel of judges decided that Craig would take third place. The “True Beauty” was discovered to be Taylor, and Erika was demoted to second place.
