The hit show was picked up for a second season soon after the first season started. It quickly became Paramount+’s second most popular show, after 1923. Taylor Sheridan makes gold out of everything she does.

Tulsa King Season 1 Recap
After spending 25 years in federal prison for a crime that wasn’t even truly his fault, Dwight Manfredi recently got out, and neither his mafia family nor his genuine family wants him around. In order to give him a fresh start, his boss in the Invernizzi crime family sends him to Tulsa. He may be a fish out of the water, but he adapts to the honky-tonk city like a pro, giving the residents a taste of old-school New York City mafia bravado. He assembles a team that consists of his driver Tyson (Jay Will), Manny (Max Casella), a former Invernizzi soldier who fled to Tulsa years ago and re-enters the life when Dwight arrives, Bodhi (Martin Starr), the proprietor of a marijuana dispensary with whom Dwight “partners” on a money-laundering scheme, and Mitch (Garrett Hedlund), the well- Stacy Beale (Andrea Savage), an ATF agent who is torn between her affections for the recalcitrant convict and Dwight, and the local kingpin, biker gang leader Waltrip (Ritchie Coster), cause a violent confrontation between the two groups.

In the episode’s climactic battle set to Phil Collins’s “In the Air Tonight,” Dwight and his team overcame Waltrip and terminated their links with the Invernizzi family, instructing Chickie (Domenick Lombardozzi), their underboss, to “pack your s***, get on a plane, and get the f*** out of my town.” Three months later, everything still appeared to be in order. The Bred-2-Buck reopened following renovations to remove all the blood and gunshot holes, Dwight’s business was prospering, and his relationship with his once-estranged daughter Tina (Tatiana Zappardino) had significantly improved. But the happy times couldn’t continue forever.
When Stacy’s ATF superiors learned of her relationship with Dwight and the $1 million bank account he gave her, they threatened to terminate her unless she disclosed their relationship. Stacy has completed her task in the closing scenes of the show by positioning Dwight for federal arrest. Again.
Tulsa King Season 2 Storyline
Although the details of Season 2 are unknown, it is likely that it will begin right after Dwight’s incarceration. He is currently facing legal issues that he did not in Season 1, which creates fresh narrative opportunities. That simmering issue will likely explode in a huge way next season because we don’t think Chickie will let Dwight disrespect him and leave the family so lightly.
