Here we are talking about UGA Football Player Killed in Crash His Parents Speak Out. It is the biggest nightmare for a parent. Devin Willock, a UGA player killed in a car accident on Sunday, was interviewed by Sharlene and Dave Willock for Candace McCowan of Channel 2. The Willocks talked about how delighted Devin was when UGA won the game and how saddened they were to learn of the accident.
It was a wonderful week for the Willock family. For the National Championship game, they were first in Los Angeles. They subsequently left their New Jersey home and went to Athens to celebrate the title with their offensive lineman son, Devin Willock.
“Devin felt like he owned the place. He was content and sort of thinking ahead to next year, Sharlene Willock recalled. Willock’s parents joined him for dinner after the party.

They received a call from the coach the following day early. Dave stated, “He informed me there was an accident, and he passed away. Devin’s parents claimed that he intended to sign up for the draught, declare for another ring with UGA, and eventually construct a home.
His parents are currently preparing for his funeral. Sharlene sobbed as she added, “He’s not going to get married, he’s not going to have kids, he’s not going to live his dream.”
This family is currently coping with tragedy twice. Jonathan, Devin’s half-brother, also perished in a car accident in the past. Dave stated, “I still can’t believe that occurred; I still can’t put it all together.”
They find solace in the stories, such as learning about Devin and his fiancée, Kate, even though they are heartbroken and still in shock. Her parents visited us and told us everything a boy wouldn’t tell his mother.
It was beautiful that they were telling us about all the sweet things dad did for Kate, said Sharlene. Devin’s parents informed McCowan that only one-way number 77 wants his teammates to continue as the entire community mourns.
“He would want them to triumph once more. Dave replied, “He would like them to keep playing and winning. The Willocks intend to hold a service in Athens and return to New Jersey, although they are still finalizing their funeral arrangements.
