Authorities said the Covenant School Shooting who killed six people, including three children, at a Nashville elementary school on Monday had comprehensive maps of the location, thought it would be another target, and left behind papers that might provide insight into his motivation.
Former Covenant School student Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, was the assailant who broke in on Monday morning by shooting glass from a door. In the city, Drake remarked, “I was praying this day would never, ever come, but we would never wait to make an entrance and go in and stop a threat, especially when it deals with our children. The gunman was initially recognized by police as a girl, however, it was later revealed that Hale was given the gender of a female at birth and later identified as a male.
