A golf cart repair shop in The Villages, Florida, has had its water switched off.

Then on Tuesday, a special magistrate in Lady Lake held a hearing in this matter.

In the testimony, Paul Cubeta revealed he is "not a legal entity" to the property belong to his late mother Hazel Cubeta.

Later with no bill payment, the Villages Utility Department turned off the water.

For years, the property has been an issue. When the Village Center Community Development District voted to erase $500 fines in 2019, the Board of Supervisors made the decision.
