Pugh dated American actor and director Zach Braff from 2019 until 2022. They lived together in Los Angeles and became friends while shooting on the short film In the Time It Takes to Get There, which Braff directed.
On January 3, 1996, Florence Pugh was born in Oxford. She has three siblings: actor and musician Toby Sebastian, actress Arabella Gibbins, and Rafaela “Raffie” Pugh.
Braff was born in South Orange, New Jersey, and raised there as well as in nearby Maplewood. His father, Harold Irwin “Hal” Braff (1934-2018), was a trial lawyer, professor, and alumnus of Rutgers Law School.
They were initially seen holding hands in New York City in April 2019, which fuelled relationship suspicions between the Oscar nominee and the “Scrubs” veteran.
The 26-year-old actress, who is due to star in the much awaited movie Don’t Worry Darling, which will release next month, opens up about the realities of dating in Hollywood in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar U.S.
The actress did stress that she and her ex-boyfriend had been attempting to actively uncouple away from the prying eyes of reporters, though she did not elaborate on why they decided to divorce (which quietly occurred earlier this year).
