Instagram Will Soon Test Ultra-Tall Photo

Instagram, which is owned by Meta, has said that it will soon start testing new “ultra-tall photographs” in an effort to match its full-screen videos.

The Verge reports that the firm will support photographs with a 9:16 aspect ratio so they may occupy the full screen

when users navigate through the app’s feed. The new test will start “in a week or two,” and the platform’

current maximum screen ratio for displaying vertical images that have been cropped appropriately is roughly 4:5.
