Lake County Suffers a 3.5 Magnitude Quake on Saturday

The earthquake was centered about 19 miles north of Windsor and was approximately two miles deep.

Previously in 2019, the United States Geological Survey, which monitors seismic activity in the US, evaluated and reported a magnitude 3.4 earthquake near Montpelier, Bear Lake County.
