What Happened to Tom Fuller in Ginny and Georgia: Ginny & Georgia season 2 has a lot of crazy turns, but what happens to Tom Fuller is the most shocking.
At the beginning of Ginny & Georgia’s second season, we learn that Cynthia’s husband Tom is sick and in a coma. Doctors have also said that Tom probably won’t get better from his illness or wake up. So, Cynthia spends a lot of Ginny & Georgia season 2 in a state of grief, and in the midst of it all, she and Georgia become friends, which seems like an odd thing to happen.
But it isn’t long before Tom is involved in one of the show’s most shocking plots, and it all comes back to Georgia.
Even though Georgia and Cynthia don’t become best friends in season 2 of Ginny & Georgia, they do start to open up to each other over drinks. In episode 9, Cynthia tells Georgia that she and her son have been suffering since Tom has been in a coma and that the longer he stays alive, the harder it is for either of them to move on.

“I just want it to be over,” Cynthia says as she cries to end the conversation. Georgia, being Georgia, has the sudden idea to step in and kill Tom. Georgia goes to Tom and tells him that she will take care of Cynthia and be there for her when she goes upstairs to look for her son. She then takes a pillow and, with tears in her eyes, smothers Tom to death.
Georgia then yells to Cynthia to tell her that Tom’s time has come, in Georgia’s opinion. But Georgia didn’t know that Austin was hiding in Tom’s room in a cupboard and saw her kill him. Austin doesn’t tell Georgia that he saw her, but Georgia’s secret doesn’t stay hidden for long.
In the last episode of the season, Paul and Georgia’s wedding day is cut short. Gabriel Cordova, a private investigator, storms in with the police and arrests Georgia for killing Tom Fuller. Austin then tells Georgia that he didn’t tell anyone, which makes Georgia even more confused. The season ends without showing how the police found out what Georgia did to Tom.
Did Austin give away the secret? Tom’s room: Did Cynthia put cameras there? Was there someone else there? We’ll probably have to wait until season 3 to find out.
