Natalia Danielle Dyer made her acting debut in a theatrical version of “To Kill a Mockingbird” when she was eight years old. She made her acting debut as “Clarissa Granger” in “Hannah Montana: The Movie” (2009), which was followed by a part in the action movie “The Greening of Whitney Brown” (2011).
Following roles in the comedic-dramatic movies “Blue Like Jazz” (2012) and “Don’t Let Me Go” (2013), Dyer played the romantic protagonist “Davina” in the coming-of-age movie “I Believe in Unicorns” (2014). She then appeared in the romantic drama “Long Nights, Short Mornings,” two short films (“The City of Lights” and “Till Dark”), and two feature films (2016).

In the Netflix science fiction horror series “Stranger Things,” Dyer received her breakout role as “Nancy Wheeler,” the older sister of the kid searching for his suddenly vanished companion (2016-present). She shared the “Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by Ensemble in Drama-series” with the rest of the ensemble.
In the 2017 short film “Yes, God, Yes,” which eventually became the comedy-drama movie of the same name, Dyer played the lead role (2019). She co-starred in the independent drama “Mountain Rest” with Frances Conroy (2018). She appeared in the sci-fi movie “After Darkness,” the horror movie “Velvet Buzzsaw,” and the drama movie “Tuscaloosa” in 2019. Additionally, she appeared in the horror movie “Things Heard and Seen” (2021).
