The complete release of Y8S3: Operation Heavy Mettle is imminent after its testing release on the Rainbow Six Siege test servers earlier this month.
There will be a lot of tweaks to the game’s current operators, gadgets, weapons, and more in the next season of Rainbow Six Siege. Ram, a new operator with a deployable BU-GI Auto Breacher, a miniature tank capable of striking a trail of devastation, will be the most notable newcomer to the next season.
If you can’t wait for the upcoming season of Rainbow Six Siege and the introduction of Ram as an operator, you’ll want to know when the new season will be available and when the servers will be down for maintenance. Below you’ll find information about when you may expect to be able to get Rainbow Six Siege Y8S3.
When Does The New Season Of R6 Come Out: Release Date And Start Time?
On Tuesday, August 29 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 1 PM UTC / 2 PM BST, the Y8S3: Operation Heavy Mettle update for Rainbow Six Siege will be made available. At the aforementioned time, servers will be taken down for around 90 minutes while Ubisoft readies the launch of Y8S3: Operation Heavy Mettle.
Players will be asked to update to a new game version while the servers are unavailable. Ubisoft has not yet shared the patch sizes for all systems.

FUZE BALANCER OPERATOR
CLUSTER CHARGE
Compatible with both the Deployable and Talon shields
We’ve decided to let Fuze use the Cluster Charge on both Deployable and Talon Shields now that he can use it on reinforcements. It’s a little adjustment, but it’ll have a huge impact on Fuze and Osa’s ability to work together, opening up new possibilities for where Fuze might deploy his charges. Nonetheless, there is a price to pay. When the shields are successfully drilled through, the Cluster Charge will shatter them just like any other bulletproof glass.
ZERO
ARGUS CAMERA
Effective against both Deployable and Talon Shields.
There won’t be a large effect on games, but the laws of piercing will become more consistent; if a device can penetrate reinforcements, it should be able to penetrate Deployable and Talon Shields as well. If Mira’s Black Mirror is unbreakable by the Argus Camera’s penetrating function, then shields are similarly impervious to its destructive force.
GRIM
KAWANI HIVE DISTRIBUTOR
Choose between Sticky (the default) and Bouncy for Ability Mode.
A significant flaw of Grim is that activating the Hive at a distant area requires direct visual contact. A new firing mode has been included to this update to solve this problem. When the missile hits a surface from now on, Grim may choose whether it will stick or bounce. This is in addition to the adjustments made throughout the offseason and will aid you in implementing the desired result.
The Y8S3 Designer’s Notes are now available! Featuring:

Updated Y8S3 Content for Rainbow Six Siege with Area of Effect Feedback
You’re going to encounter some modifications that have established gamers buzzing, so prepare to join the conversation. Let’s dissect what’s going to happen.
A new player has entered the fray, but that’s just the beginning. The Player Commendation system is also brand new. The objective of this approach is to express appreciation for one’s colleagues. Someone deserves praise if they performed well or were a valuable team member.
Think of it as a virtual thumbs-up. We have seen ideas like this before. Similar systems may be seen in games like Overwatch and Counter-Strike. Why bother? Get the crew chatting more and motivated. Let’s talk about Frost right now. Frost is a skilled trap master.
You may be really harmed if you walked on one in the past. But now, these hazards will simply slow down the player rather than kill them. This shift has generated considerable controversy. A subset of supporters worry that it may weaken Frost’s overall effectiveness.
Another update, dubbed “Quick Match 2.0,” has been implemented. Quick Match used to be a more casual mode of play. The developers are still refining it. They want a relaxed atmosphere yet prefer a brisk pace. This means that matches will take less time yet will still be enjoyable.
The last operator to get a boost is one by the name of Grim. The goal here is not to make Grim more powerful but to improve his gameplay. So, keep a look out if you’ve ever played with or against Grim. It’s going to make him feel a little off.
