The first volume of Stranger Things Season 4 has officially been released, and there are many new characters to get to know. Dmitri Antonov, also known as Enzo, the Russian jail guard who joins forces with Hopper, is one of these fresh faces. Dmitri “Enzo” Antonov, “a brilliant and charming Russian jail guard,” would be portrayed by German actor Thomas Wlaschiha, according to a Stranger Things tweet from the year 2020. Wlaschiha travelled to the United States at the age of 17 to pursue a career in acting. She was born in Dohna, Dresden, East Germany. Wlaschiha studied theatre in Massachusetts and picked up English, according to IMDb. He is fluent in Russian, Italian, and French (which has come in handy for Stranger Things).
Wlaschiha has appeared in a number of foreign film and television productions. He is best known in the US, though, for his role as Jaqen H’ghar in Game of Thrones. Fans may remember that Jaqen belonged to the Faceless Men, a team of highly trained killers. He was in charge of teaching Arya (Maisie Williams) how to kill for herself.

How does Enzo do in “Stranger Things”?
Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is imprisoned in a Russian jail in the new season of Stranger Things, where he is frequently abused and made to work on a railroad. Fortunately, he discovers Dmitri, who accepts to assist Hopper get back together with Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) in exchange for $40,000 from him. Dmitri uses the codename Enzo to get in touch with Joyce, a homage to the eatery where Hopper and Joyce previously went on a date.
