Blac Chyna, a former model, and current professional makeup artist have been at odds with the Kardashians since the early 2010s. Tyga, Chyna’s baby daddy, began dating Kylie Jenner in October 2014; they were together until April 2017. Meanwhile, in January 2016, Chyna began dating Rob Kardashian.
The Kardashians and Blac Chyna have been inextricably intertwined for years due to their romantic relationships and other entanglements. In 2017, Blac Chyna initiated legal action against the family. The experiment started in April of 2022 and finished in May of the same year. For what reasons did Blac Chyna file suit against the Kardashians, and what happened as a result?
Relationships Between Blac Chyna and the Kardashians Have Been Confusing?
In 2011, Blac Chyna began dating Tyga, known for his hit “Hotel California.” In October 2012, they gave birth to their only child, King Cairo Stevenson. But when Tyga dumped Chyna for Kylie Jenner in 2014, all hell broke loose. Despite Chyna’s assurances that there was no adultery, Tyga claims that “something” (presumably Kylie) “expedited” their breakup.
Given that Kylie is eight years younger than the rapper, their connection came as a shock to many. In February 2015, Amber Rose stoked the flames by criticizing Tyga for pursuing a relationship with Kylie, who was then 17 years old.
During that time, Chyna’s rumored friendship with Kim Kardashian had already run its course. It didn’t seem good for the rest of the Kardashian family when Chyna and Rob Kardashian began dating in the first half of 2016. A source close to the Kardashians told People in 2016 that “Kylie is enraged.” She feels deeply betrayed and is baffled as to why a member of her own family would act in such a way.

What Happened Further to Chyna’s Lawsuit Filing?
A judge rejected the Kardashians’ petition to dismiss Chyna’s case in October 2020.
According to Chyna’s attorney, Lynn Ciani, “Kris [Jenner], Kim [Kardashian], Khloé [Kardashian], and Kylie [Jenner] will be sued for defamation, intentional interference with a contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage,” and Chyna “will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from them.”
Later, a judge mandated that “Rob & Chynaproduction “‘s company turn over any unaired second-season footage.
Who Will Provide Testimony Throughout the Trial?
The trial, which is anticipated to last 10 days, started with the jury selection process on Monday. Live testimony will be provided by Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian. Ryan Seacrest, the producer of “Rob & Chyna” and executive producer of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and “The Kardashians” on Hulu, is also scheduled to give a testimony.
According to Chyna’s lawyer, she will be the first witness brought to the witness stand and will be there throughout the entire trial.

The Legal Dispute Was Resolved in May 2022.
The jury started thinking about Chyna’s lawsuit nine days after the trial started. On May 2, a judge said that Kim, Khloé, Kris, and Kylie did not break Chyna’s E! contract and did not smear her name after she broke up with Rob.
At the end of the trial, Chyna was not given any money. But the jurors did say that the KarJenners “acted in bad faith” when they told the producers of Rob & Chyna that “Chyna abused their son and brother Rob Kardashian.” But they said it didn’t “substantially change” Chyna’s contract for the reality show.
The Kardashian/Jenner defendants were there for most of the trial, but they didn’t find out the verdict until they were at the “Gilded Glamour”-themed Met Gala in New York City. Lynne Ciani, Chyna’s lawyer, said that they were going to file an appeal after the verdict was read.
Even though the trial happened a few months ago, it will be a big part of Season 2 of The Kardashians. Every Thursday, new episodes of Season 2 of The Kardashians come out on Hulu.
