The upcoming thirty-eighth season of the MTV reality competition series The Challenge will be titled “The Challenge: Ride or Dies.” This season will feature former contestants from The Real World, Road Rules, The Challenge, Are You the One?, Big Brother, Ex on the Beach, Survivor (Turkey and the United States), Love Island (the UK and the United States), Ultimate Beastmaster, Prince Charming, The Mole Germany, Beauty & The Nerd, and Exatlón Estados Unidos competing After a launch special titled Ready to Ride that was broadcast on October 10, 2022, the first episode of the new season was broadcast on October 12, 2022.

What Happened To Kaycee On The Challenge?
As a result of Kaycee’s success in the previous season of The Challenge, she and her brother Kenny were thought to be among the favourites to take home the title this time around. However, it became clear very quickly that she would not be able to duplicate the performance.
The presenter, T.J. Lavin, announced on the first episode of Season 38 that “Kaycee and Kenny had to quit the game.” The audience also heard this announcement. The fact that “we live in wild times right now,” which was the only explanation that Lavin offered, led viewers to speculate that some type of crisis had taken place.
The Challenge then presented not just one but two new teams to take the vacant slot left by the Clark siblings after they were eliminated. Horacio Gutierrez and Olivia Kaiser, along with Nam Vo and Emmy Russ, will compete against one another in an effort to win The Challenge: Ride or Dies. The previous champions were Nam Vo and Emmy Russ.
However, Kaycee’s departure cast a long shadow over the rest of the premiere, and as a result, audience attention was more focused on her departure than on the remaining cast members. Kaycee provided an explanation for her abrupt exit shortly after the show aired.

Her relationship conflict with Stephen Bear in the past is something that fans may recall. She and her husband are racing in Ride or Die as a team, so maybe they can put that past conflict behind them and focus on the race at hand.

They explained, “The victorious team eliminates a member and then nominates three opponents to fight the eliminated member.” The other team in the elimination round is determined by a coin toss after those three teams have drawn them. To avoid elimination, one of the two teams must pull a dagger, and the team that does so gets to choose which one.
Therefore, another Reddit member elaborated on the initial cut. Devin and Tori, Laurel and Jakk, and Colleen and Kim made up the teams for the initial dagger draw. My guess is that Laurel’s group made the executive decision to rescue Colleen. Kailah and Sam were sent in by Johnny Middlebrooks and Ravyn.

Even though The Challenge: Ride or Dies has a seemingly easy concept, showrunner Emer Harkin told Entertainment Weekly that viewers should brace themselves for the unexpected. Harkin warned that there are “a handful of surprises during the season” that would leave viewers wondering whether or not their “ride or die” is still on their side. They might drift apart and then find each other again.
