A widowed mother of four on temporary assignment for Arby’s who d!ed after becoming trapped in the walk-in freezer was identified in a report as a woman from Louisiana.
Nguyet Le, 63, the general manager of an Arby’s restaurant, became trapped in the freezer while opening the business on May 11 “and beat her hands bloody trying to escape or get someone’s attention,” according to a lawsuit filed this week by her family.
According to McClatchy News Service, Le was asked to temporarily move from his regular position at an Arby’s restaurant in Houston for one month. We decided to prolong our time in Louisiana.

Le’s attorneys said they suspect no foul play in their client’s de@th and that the temperature inside the freezer was probably between five and twenty degrees Fahrenheit. How long Le was trapped in the freezer before being discovered is unknown.
She “collapsed into a fetal position face down on the frozen floor,” the news site reported, quoting court documents, and d!ed of hypothermia after spending an extended period in the freezer.

Le’s son Nguyen, who had followed his mother to Louisiana and worked at Arby’s, found his mother’s body. An ex-worker reportedly told the family that the latch on the freezer door had been broken for a while.
