A large number of critically acclaimed series, with lavish production values, incisive scripts, and intricate plot twists, are available on Netflix.
Famous Game of Thrones writers David Benioff and DB Weiss, together with True Blood’s Alexander Woo, have collaborated on the most recent one, and fans can’t wait for it to drop. The streaming service will launch 3 Body Problem, an adaptation of Liu Cixin’s novel of the same name, in a few months.
Similar to the book, the new series will transport viewers over time and space as it follows the consequences of a young woman’s decision in China in the 1960s.

Release date for the new eight-part series on Netflix is Thursday, March 21, 2024. A sneak peek video for the series confirmed the release date, and fans who can’t get enough of the show will also be able to listen to a companion podcast.
“Entertainment superfan” Jason Concepcion and Dr. Maggie Aderin-Pocock, a scientist, educator, and TV host, will host the official podcast. Netflix explains that “in each episode, you’ll go behind the scenes of the series and learn about the real science that inspired the mind-bender of a sci-fi drama”.

3 Body Problem Cast

What is 3 Body Problem About?
The new series is the first of a trilogy called Remembrance of Earth’s Past, and it is based on the critically acclaimed novel by the same name written by science fiction novelist Liu Cixin.
Alexander Woo, who co-created and wrote the script for the Netflix series, characterized the book as “a history of humanity from the point of first contact with an alien civilization all the way to the end of the universe,” despite the book’s fame and its reputation as one of the top science fiction novels of the past decade.
