Although Gigi and Zayn broke up over two years ago, they continue to be loving parents to their daughter, Khai Hadid Malik, now 2. Gigi rarely discusses their existence as a family in the public eye, but she did so in a recent interview with the UK’s Sunday Times.
When asked about Khai, Gigi answered, “She has already given me so much.” This was reported by E! News. It was always a goal of mine to become a mother, but I never considered it my life’s mission or felt compelled to have children. It was a godsend that I met Khai when I did since I have always been a very organised person. As a young mother, I couldn’t be happier.
The model said that she plans her work, modelling jobs, and vacations around periods “when Khai is with her dad.” She expressed her joy at the possibility of her daughter having a relationship with both of her parents.
Gigi, when asked about working with an ex as a co-parent, said it was vital to put the child’s happiness first. Insofar as you and this individual get along, you will be together for quite some time. Khai’s father was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, thus she also discussed the “small parts” of British culture she’s acquired from him.
