After five years of marriage and three children, Lil Scrappy and Adizia “Bambi” Benson of “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” allegedly called it quits. The Jasmine Brand, the first outlet to exclusively break the story, claimed that sources have revealed that the two have reportedly chosen to part ways.
They reportedly spent New Year’s Eve apart, according to insiders, The Jasmine Brand said. It appears that the pair held a separate holiday celebration and deleted any references to one another from their individual Instagram pages. But in a home movie, Scrappy posted on Christmas Day, Bambi’s voice can be heard in the distance.

Fans started bringing up Scrappy’s mother, Momma Dee, in the comments once word of the couple’s purported estrangement spread online. Many humorously assumed she was likely relieved to learn about their breakup.
Bambi and the 59-year-old actress did not appear to get along. One of the primary causes was Momma Dee’s intrusive concern for her son and Bambi’s romance, which boiled over after she had previously propagated untrue divorce rumors on “LHHATL.”
Momma Dee’s apparent strong friendship with Scrappy’s ex-girlfriend Shay Johnson was another factor. Momma Dee received some backlash in February for showing up to Johnson’s baby shower and introducing herself as the “grand-godmother” of Johnson’s daughter.
After Momma Dee revealed to Bobby Lytes on an episode of “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” that she had preferred Johnson marry her son over Bambi, things only got worse. Additionally, she implied that Scrappy and Johnson had a relationship after his marriage to Bambi.
“Scrappy and Shay met together in Miami a few months ago. Momma Dee confessed in her confessional that he and she claimed to be only friends. Lil Scrappy and Bambi were wed on September 8, 2017, however, their relationship had been on-and-off since 2013.
Breland, their 3-year-old boy, Xylo, their 2-year-old daughter, and Cali, their 1-year-old daughter, are all their children together. Despite the fast-moving media attention around the allegations of their breakup, neither Scrappy nor Bambi has publicly acknowledged it.
