On Tuesday (April 18), five months after Aaron Carter’s untimely death, the official cause of death was announced.
After inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam, the former child star drowned in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California, home, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, who ruled his death an accident.
Carter reportedly became “incapacitated while in the bathtub” and finally slipped below the surface of the water while under the effect of the lethal combination of the gas, commonly used in cans of compressed air, and the generic version of Xanax, as reported by both People and TMZ.

My feelings for my brother have never diminished, despite the fact that we’ve had a tumultuous history together.
