Are Kwame And Chelsea Still Together?
The fourth season of Love Is Blind immediately gained followers with the premiere of the first five episodes on March 24. In this new season, we meet a brand new set of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. The audience’s attention was drawn to 33-year-old Kwame Appiah, a sales development manager, as he made an initial connection with 27-year-old Micah Lussier, a marketing manager.
But when Micah went with someone else, Kwame set his sights on Chelsea Griffin, a 31-year-old speech therapist. Kwame played acoustic guitar love songs for her and proposed to her while they were in the “pods” to win her over. Kwame and Micah seemed to hit it off at first, but after meeting the other couples in Mexico, things got tough.
When Kwame and Micah traveled to Mexico, she broke off her engagement to environmental scientist Paul Peden, age 29, and the two were reunited. Both felt an obvious pull toward one another and made complimentary comments to one another behind closed doors as they lounged by the pool. When Micah made a joke about Kwame’s phony pod proposal, however, the mood quickly changed, and an argument ensued.
They may have spent too much time arguing their respective points. In response to Kwame’s extended talk with Micah, Chelsea challenged him. When Chelsea inquired if Kwame felt “closure” with Micah, Kwame responded, “Not totally but enough.” It looked like Kwame and Chelsea were back together after their fight.
The season preview, however, hints at the possibility of more sexually suggestive exchanges between Kwame and Micah. In one video, Micah asks Kwame if he made the correct choice while grinning devilishly. Kwame and Chelsea’s social media sites are unusually silent about their relationship statuses, as is common with Love Is Blind participants.
While Kwame does keep up with Micah and her boyfriend Paul, he does not keep up with Chelsea. A video of Kwame sailing was just released by competitor Zack Goytowski. Someone in a lavender puffy jacket reaches into the screen in the video. On the same day, Chelsea also shared a photo of herself on Instagram, this time showing off her purple jacket and a manicure with rainbow tips. She also uploaded a picture she’d shot from a bay that she said was “quite similar” to the setting of Zack’s video.
