Bart Cott is a former linebacker who played for eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was born in the U.S. city of Detroit on August 18, 1980.
After playing college football for Southern Illinois University, Scott was signed by the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2002. Scott was chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2006.

He chose the Baltimore Ravens over the Cleveland Browns and signed for three years and $13.5 million. As a backup, he was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2006. For seven years, he stayed there. He was also chosen for the Associated Press 2nd All-Pro Games, where he made 131 tackles.
