David broke the news at an Emmys event at the DGA given by HBO Max. The event included a screening of Season 11 episode “The Watermelon” as well as a live panel discussion led by Rich Eisen and included David, executive producer Jeff Schaffer, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, and Richard Lewis. As Eisen stated on Twitter, “So, I was delighted to emcee a [Emmys] panel for ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ tonight here in LA with most of the cast and asked Larry David the ultimate question: Will there be another season of Curb? He said yes.”No further details about Season 12 were provided.
The news is especially intriguing because “Curb’s” comeback is never a sure thing. With 11 seasons spaced out over 21 years, the series operates only when David feels inspired to write more of it. (The show was off the air for a long time, from 2011 to 2017). “I think Larry can see a lot more seasons, episodes, and storylines based on what he has at his disposal,” Smoove told Variety ahead of the Season 11 debut. The more the world evolves, the more toys he has to play with. He’s fired up right now, and his enthusiasm is contagious.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 Storyline
Season 11 ended with Larry giving some unsolicited marital advice and organizing an event honoring a hero on Curb Your Enthusiasm. But these weren’t the only things L.D. was up to. When Maria Sofia and Irma Kostroski continue to wreak havoc on Larry’s personal and professional lives, was Larry able to save his program and avoid a lawsuit despite the pressures? A summary of “The Mormon Advantage” can be found below.
One day Curb Your Enthusiasm will of course be gone from HBO, bringing an end to one of the classic TV comedies of all time. It seems as though David’s eagerness to continue concocting scenarios for his wonderfully grumpy TV alter ego has been postponed yet again. Even though previous seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm have set the bar extremely high, David and company usually manage to deliver, and there’s no reason to doubt that they can pull it off one more time as well.
As we begin our journey, we find Maria Sofia on the set of Larry’s new program, continuously missing her lines. When the city council repeals the city’s fencing law, Larry can finally rid himself of the worst actress ever (or so he hopes) (or so he hopes). Shortly after, Larry requests Stan to rope off his director’s chair so no one would sit in it.
LAUGHS! We don’t know what Larry is going to surprise us with this time, but we can make a guess. We saw in season 10 that Larry opened his coffee shop near another coffee shop to annoy the owner of the latter. Moreover, Larry was accused of sexual harassment, and he tried to resolve the problem, but with his attitude, things just grew worse. There’s a chance these features will stick around for a while. Also, you must have observed that season two spotlighted current concerns in a society like the MeToo movement and MAGA. It’s possible that the show’s satirical commentary may return in season two as well. One more thing we are sure of is that he will get ejected out of certain events in season 11; he has mastered that technique!
Curbs fans rejoice! We’re doing another season!!! Got to be w my very favorite ppl last night! 🥰♥️🥰♥️ #CurbYourEnthusiasm #curbS12 #LarryDavid #susieessman #JBSmoove #jeffGarlin #richardlewis #jeffschaffer #hbo #hbomax #letsdothis #myfamily #lovemyjob pic.twitter.com/hQCt3T72CE
