Murphy admitted that he does not know if Tommy Shelby, the character he played, has been saved in the final season, but he believes that is what the show’s screenwriter Steven Knight was going for.
The 45-year-old continued, “I’ve cherished my experience on the program; only this year did it feel hard. “I’m still in awe of how it went from this little show on BBC Two to this global sensation,” the speaker said.
