Eva Marcille, a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alumna and winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” and her husband Michael Sterling have decided to divorce.
According to court records obtained by TODAY.com, Marcille filed for divorce on March 23 in Fulton County, Georgia, claiming that her marriage is “irretrievably destroyed and there are no prospects for a reunion.”
Although Marcille and Sterling have been married since 2018, according to the records, they have been living apart.
Michael Sterling Jr., born in 2018, and Maverick Sterling, born in 2019, are the couple’s two kids. Marley Rae Sterling, a child from Marcille’s previous union with musician Kevin McCall, was born in 2014.
The reality television star requested “legal and primary physical custody of the children” in the divorce petition. She is also asking for child support. Marcille stated that she wanted the couple’s assets and debts to be split evenly.

On Valentine’s Day, the 38-year-old model shared a social media image featuring Sterling. She celebrated their union by posting an Instagram picture of them cuddling and grinning at one other. They may be seen dancing in a video that she posted.
She wished him a “Happy Valentine’s Day forever and ever @miketsterling” in the caption before including the word “US” and a sunflower emoji.
In honor of the holiday of love, he also posted a lovely picture of the two on his Instagram page.

He captioned a picture of his wife giggling while sitting on his lap, “My eternal Valentine.” Sterling said, “I am so in love with you that there is nothing else,” quoting Ernest Hemingway. At the conclusion of the message, he included the hashtag “thesterlings.”
Marcille hasn’t spoken about her divorce in public, but the day the documents made headlines, she uploaded a few strange pictures to her Instagram story.
On March 28, she published a picture of a dancer wearing shoes with just one point. The other dancer’s foot was bandaged and covered with blood. Over the picture was written, “The suffering under the beauty.”
Marcille appeared in a brief video saying “Tues-YAY!” while sitting next to a pal in another Instagram story. She gave a quick smile before breaking out in laughter. She remarked, “That’s a false a— smile, but it’s all right. Smile, you’re correct.
In Seasons 11 and 12, when Marcille was a primary cast member of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Sterling made appearances with her. Since Season 13, she has not been again on the program.
