Who Is Fielder Jewett’s Husband?
Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, begrudgingly begins her studies at Nevermore Academy. The show has become a critical and commercial success for Netflix, surpassing Stranger Things as the service’s most-watched original series. Wednesday becomes friends with Tyler, a regular barista in town, to escape the oppressive academic environment where her every move is closely observed.
Tyler, played by Hunter Doohan, may have tremendous chemistry with Wednesday, but in real life, Doohan is out, proud, and married. Doohan tied the knot with Fielder Jewett, a former film producer, and current law student, in June 2022. Their union was officiated by Doohan’s Your Honor co-star Bryan Cranston. Doohan wrote on Instagram that it was “the finest day of our lives.”

It is unknown when or where the couple first met, but in 2018 they made their relationship Instagram official by sharing a photo from their first camping trip together. Doohan proposed on New Year’s Eve 2020, exactly two years later. “Is there anything more 2020 than a home proposal?” he questioned in his essay. Tweeted Fielder Jewett: “I adore you @fielderjewett! Looking forward to getting married to you. Jewett has produced such films as The Disappearance of Sidney Hall and Rosy.
Doohan has been very quiet about his marriage to Jewett, but he spoke to the press about coming to terms with his sexuality. Doohan revealed to Queerty in November 2022 that he knew he was gay after his high school sweetheart showed him an episode of Will & Grace. So far, the show has been the most prominent introduction I’ve had to LGBT culture. Also, it was fantastic for me. How could I have been ‘in the closet’ when I got Will & Grace DVD box sets for Christmas?

Hunter Doohan Reveals, How He Met His Husband?
A new interview with actor Hunter Doohan was released on Wednesday, and in it, he discussed his marriage and how he met his husband, Fielder Jewett. Earlier this year, actor Hunter Doohan married film producer Fielder Jewett. Hunter proposed to Fielder at the end of the year, and they recently got married in June. Bryan Cranston co-starred with Holly Hunter in the film Your Honor and was the celebrant.
Both Hunter and Fielder shared their event photos on Instagram. Hunter talked about Fielder on the current episode of the Keep It! podcast (released on the 14th of December) with hosts Ira Madison III and Louis Virtel. ‘He is a complete nerd in every aspect,’ he declared. He is continually engaged in some form of intellectual activity, whether reading or watching a movie. We’ll occasionally attend a trivia night together, and I’ll patiently watch him win the night’s limelight while smiling to myself.
Hunter said, “Tinder,” when asked how he and Fielder met. He explained, “We met in 2015 and became engaged during the influenza epidemic. Since I was already in New Orleans for six months filming Your Honor, the outbreak occurred at a convenient time. I’m home again, so let’s have some quality time together. During the pandemic, so many of our friends married, had babies, and/or divorced that we just stopped keeping track.
The episode also discusses how Hunter spent his Wednesday filming day glued to RuPaul’s Drag Race. He said, “It was in Romania that I became a true admirer of the genre.” The ability to watch all 14 seasons of Drag Race in one sitting while recovering from being a monster on set was a blessing. When asked to expound on his current obsession with White Lotus, Hunter said, “My stupid gay brain can only think of White Lotus right now.” Though, one 28-year-old woman eventually revealed, “I was enamored with anything Shonda Rhimes did forever.”
