The young TikToker killed himself on January 7, his family said. Rena Smith Brady, his mother, went on Instagram to confirm the sad news.
“Sometimes you never know the pain behind someone’s smile,” she wrote in her post. The front desk worker at the hotel apologized and said, “I’m sorry, I would never have guessed this would happen when he checked in around midnight.”

“He signed in with a smile. That was Noah. He had the biggest, most infectious smile I’ve ever seen. He was kind. He was the most fun person there. He was a friend to everyone, and he was one of the least critical people I know. People who know him know that he wasn’t the person he showed himself to be on social media.
She told him that Noah had been depressed since the ninth grade, but he didn’t tell his family about it until October. “In that short time, we did everything we could to help him,” she said.
“I tried to talk him out of this all night long last night. I got a text from him at 5:18 am, but that was the last time I heard from him. He had just told me, “Don’t cry for me.” Be glad I’m not in pain anymore, because I would never wish this on anyone else.'”
