Jalen Hurts Covers Jarvon Coles Funeral Expenses

Family members told the sister station KTRK-TV that Hurts has been very helpful since 18-year-old Jarvon Coles was shot and killed.

Coles was a star student and defensive lineman at North Shore High School. He was shot and killed on March 9 at a house party in Humble, Texas. Police think that one or more shooters came from about a block away and fired at the party before driving off.
At the funeral over the weekend, a video message from Hurts was played to show his sympathy for the family’s loss. A list of people to thank in the show also included his name, KTRK-TV says.
Texas was the birthplace of Hurts, who attended Channelview High School. Ian Rapoport of the NFL claims that Hurts read of Coles’s death, who went to a rival high school, and made the decision to cover the cost of Coles’ burial.
The NFL quarterback hasn’t said anything in public about the touching gesture yet. As of now, no one has been caught for the murder of Coles.
