He moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and started working as a screenwriter and film producer. Later, he got a contract with the William Morris Agency, and in 2006, he wrote the script for the short film Miles from Home.
He joined Coattails Entertainment and helped write the movie Spiral in the same year. Later, he worked with Jeff Mizushima to make the comedy film Etienne! In 2009, he wrote columns for Big Hollywood and Newsbusters and also wrote Byron Phillips: Found, his second short film. Boreing helped start Declaration Entertainment in 2010.
