In the early 1970s, Jimmy Iovine became a recording engineer and worked with artists like John Lennon and Bruce Springsteen, among others. By 1973, Iovine worked at the Record Plant in New York, where he worked on albums like Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen and Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf.
