The reason behind Lance Reddick death has been made public. According to his death certificate, which TMZ received on Thursday, the late “Wire” star had two heart conditions: ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. According to the American Heart Association, ischemia is a situation in which blood flow and oxygen are diminished or restricted in a particular area of the body.

According to the Mayo Clinic, arteriosclerosis happens when “blood arteries that carry oxygen and nutrients from the heart to the rest of the body become thick and inflexible,” occasionally preventing blood flow to the organs and tissues. A heart attack or stroke may be brought on by the clots.

On March 17, Reddick’s body was discovered at his Studio City, California, residence. He had reached age 60. Earlier, law enforcement sources told TMZ that the actor passed away from “natural causes.” Reddick passed away while he was still employed and very occupied.

With “John Wick: Chapter 4,” which hit theaters on March 23, he was in the middle of a promotional trip. Reddick referred to his co-stars Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane as his “family” in one of his last interviews.

He remarked, while seated next to his co-stars on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” “You know, with the three of us, it’s not just the family that you’re born into, but the family that you built and how much we are family.

For nearly ten years, Reddick portrayed Charon, a hotel concierge and longtime friend of John Wick, in the action film series. Reeves, 58, wore a blue ribbon as a tribute to his late friend during the premiere of the fourth movie.

He was a lovely person, a special artist, and a man with grace and dignity [with] such a dedication for his craft, the “Speed” actor added of Reddick on the red carpet. “It has been a very special opportunity for me to work with him over the past ten years and four films [in the franchise]. It’s awful that he’s not present.
