On Wednesday, a sad accident involving a school bus and an automobile resulted in the death of a small kid and the injuries of six additional people. The crash was swift and violent. The immature driver, a passenger, and two additional kids who were in the car were taken for medical care after the collision and sent to Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A 12-year-old Hairston Middle School student and the bus driver also suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. Kie Landon Johnson, 17, of Whitsett, Tennessee, tragically passed away at the crash place on Knox Road, south of McLeansville, at around 4:30 in the afternoon reports from the state police.
The Toyota struck the centre line and into the path of the northbound school bus while being driven by Whitsett resident Jacob Almon Larkin, 18, in the southbound lane of Knox Road. Our town has been rocked by this tragic tragedy, leaving us all inconsolable and in despair. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kie Landon Johnson’s family and friends during this extremely trying time.
