Lil’ Kim, also known as Kimberly Denise Jones, was born on July 11, 1974, in Brooklyn, New York’s Bedford-Stuyvesant district. Christopher is her only older brother. Jones’s parents, Linwood Jones, and Ruby Jones, divorced when she was nine years old, and he thereafter raised her. Due to their tumultuous relationship, Jones was eventually expelled from the home. She then quit high school and began to live on the streets.
Young Jones then met Christopher Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G. The rap legend played a significant role in her career and they were also romantically involved.
