On March 6, 1949, in the episode “The Druid Circle” of The Philco Television Playhouse, she made her television debut as Miss Dagnall. She has four guest-starring roles on Perry Mason. She played Clara Mayfield in “The Case of the Sulky Girl” in 1957, and the judge in “The Case of the Corresponding Corpse” in 1958, “The Case of the Shattered Dream” in 1959, and “The Case of the Clumsy Clown” from 1960.

The episode “The Haunted House” from March 1959 features Bronson as Miss Cooper on Leave It To Beaver. The episode “The Beauty Contest” from 1960 on The Andy Griffith Show featured her as Erma Bishop. Kisses for My President (1964), in which Bronson portrayed Miss Currier, was her last film role.

She went on to play supporting roles in a wide variety of Western and other TV series until the mid-1970s. She shot to fame thanks to her recurring role as Grandma on the TV show Kings Row. On September 9, 1975, in the episode “Fonzie Moves In” of the ABC-TV sitcom series Happy Days, Bronson made her final appearance on television as “Grandma Nussbaum,” Fonzie’s grandma.
