I Am Groot is an upcoming American animated television series created by Ryan Little for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character Groot. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is well-represented (MCU). The series consists of shorts made by Marvel Studios, with Little serving as lead writer and Kirsten Lepore directing.
Vin Diesel reprises his role as the voice of Baby Groot from the MCU movie. In December of 2020, I Am Groot was officially unveiled. It was confirmed in November 2021 that Little and Lepore will serve as the show’s writer and director, respectively, after the photorealistic animation production began in August 2021. On August 10, 2022, as part of MCU Phase Four, Disney+ will broadcast the first episode of I Am Groot, starring Bradley Cooper as the titular character.

It’ll be interesting to see what Baby Groot does on Disney+ while the Guardians of the Galaxy gear is ready for their imminent appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. The poster portrays a very relaxed Baby Groot listening to music, reclining against a Walkman, with a drink at his side, soaking in the lamp light that is clearly substituting the sunlight that mortals require. From behind a tree, he can see two four-eyed white creatures staring at him.
Baby Groot’s glorious days as a child, growing up and getting into mischief among the stars, are described in a brief official summary. Interestingly, the image looks to center on music which is a common element in filmmaker James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy flicks. Who knows maybe we are in for another fantastic mixtape from the series.
We last saw Groot as an adolescent in Avengers: Endgame. However, the Disney+ series goes to back to its roots to show us the adventures of the Baby Groot we all have come to adore. In addition, Gunn said in a 2017 interview with ComicBook that “Now everyone knows Groot so well that we, me and the cast, have a much broader awareness of a baby Groot being there at all times.”

There was nothing shoddy about his writing; rather, I believe he’s a more rounded figure.” We have watched and loved Groot’s metamorphosis from a full-grown Flora Colossus sacrificing himself in the first movie to the beautiful infant form who loves to dance in the sequel. He transforms into a pesky teenager during Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. It’s time we see him on a single adventure.

I Am Groot Release Date
In 2022, the first season of Disney Plus’s I Is Groot will air at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET/8:01 a.m. GMT, as is standard for much of Disney Plus’s programming. Later this year, Disney/Marvel will reveal more information, but a summer 2022 release isn’t out of the question.

For the time being, I Am Groot Season 1 is only accessible on Disney Plus, and will not be made available on any other services like HBO Max, Netflix, or Amazon. Fortunately, anyone can watch the cute baby Groot adventure on any platform at the same time if they have a Disney Plus account that they can access.
