A covert conflict. Following her passing on February 15 at the age of 82, more details of Raquel Welch’s demise have been made public.
Welch’s official cause of death was cardiac arrest, according to the actress’s death certificate, which TMZ was able to get on Tuesday, April 4. Also, the letter mentions that she was suffering Alzheimer’s disease, which Welch had never acknowledged before.
Welch died “peacefully” after battling a “brief illness,” according to a statement from a representative for the Fantastic Voyage actress.
The statement said at the time, “Her career extended over 50 years, starring in over 30 films and 50 television programs and appearances. “The Golden Globe winner was part of a very popular wig line in more recent years. Tahnee Welch and Damon Welch, Raquel’s daughter and son, are left behind.
