Pake, real name Dale Stanley McEntire, began his professional life as a musician. But once his band with his sisters broke up, she started her own band, Limestone Gap, which performed once a week at Sulphur, Texas’ illustrious Corral Club. Alice, the singer’s older sister, prefers to keep a low profile and is less well-known than Reba and Susie. Most importantly, she has no connection to any musical endeavours.
The family’s lone son reportedly also enjoyed ranching and even briefly worked as an insurance salesman in addition to music. Pake, however, had a stroke in 2015 while undergoing routine back surgery. An untimely stroke resulted in swelling and blood in the brain. Reba later let her followers know that her brother was recovering by posting on Instagram on May 18, 2015.
