Shameless Season 12 Storyline
The closing episode was regretfully still lacking Fiona, and we haven’t gotten a hint about where she is or what she’s been up to, which seems quite unusual. Following his second attempt to overdose, Frank wanders away from home, but a dementia episode brings him to the hospital, where he later passes away alone. He has memories of his children’s lives and joins them for one more beer in the Alibi Room.
When it comes to his future plans (such as whether or not he’ll sell the house or add to his family), Lip is still a bit hesitant. However, we were happy to see him reclaim some of his wits for a brief period of time. This character deserved so much more and we hope this was a clue that fans may see Lip finding his way back into a profession where he’s respected for his full worth.
Now we’re in our feels!!!!🥺😭❤️ Miss you besties https://t.co/PWMIUiEPxd

And after years of gentrification stories, the boy genius isn’t even going to put the house on the market and is considering a low-ball offer of $75k? That is complete and utter nonsense.
Ian and Mickey had decided to stay in the flat on the other side of town, and in the Shameless Season 11 finale, they talked about having a child together while looking for furniture and cookware. When Mickey became upset throughout the dialogue, we expected it would lead to Mickey wishing to visit his own son, but the matter was avoided altogether. Ian consoled Mickey, assuring him he’d be a terrific dad. The show didn’t hint at whether they stole the crib, but the door is open.
Debbie may have had the oddest, most bizarre finish of all the Gallagher siblings. We didn’t discover much about what Debbie’s future holds, and despite being so terribly determined on wanting to stay in the Gallagher mansion, she may simply wind up leaving Chicago on a whim.
However, this is Debbie, and she’s been making bad life decisions for years. We hope she doesn’t keep following Heidi and ignoring all of those enormous red lights much longer. Hopefully, her brothers will be able to persuade her to stay away from those with a criminal record as long as Heidi’s. Debbie and Franny both deserve a brighter future.
Carl seems to have found his groove as a police officer and has worked out how he wants to be able to serve the community in his own way. The Shameless Season 11 finale also hinted at Carl perhaps having a hand in buying the Alibi Room to transform it into a hangout for police officers. It appears like the boy who formerly used to electrocute dolls and melt them in the microwave could just be ok after all.

Shameless Season 12 Trailer

Conclusion
It is inevitable that all excellent things come to a close. All debauched stuff too. The Gallagher Brood of Shameless may have brought us to this point, where we are now staring into the vastness of eternity. After Emmy Rossum quit the show as Fiona Gallagher, one of the show’s apparent leads, the series has resumed production and is winding down in the age of COVID. Aye. Even so, it won’t be going out without a bang or a drink!
