The news of the passing of late Rufftown Records signee Ebony shocked Ghanaians on February 8, 2018. The popular singer, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng by birth, was killed in a horrific car accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.
After visiting her mother in the Bono Region, she was en route to Accra. As she was traveling, the Jeep she was in—with the license plate AS 497-16—had a head-on collision with a VIP bus that was coming from Kumasi in the direction of Sunyani.
