One of Queer Eye’s former “heroes” died, and the cast is sorrowful. Tom Jackson passed away on Friday at 11:49 p.m. “after losing his battle with metastatic adenocarcinoma,” according to his obituary. He was 63.
The Cancer Treatment Centers of America state that metastatic adenocarcinoma develops when adenocarcinoma cancer cells start in one area of the body and spread to other regions. Adenocarcinoma stage 4 is another name for it.
Jackson drove dump trucks in Georgia before retiring from Federal Express and becoming a reality star. According to his obituary, being “a Papaw to his two grandkids, who were his pride and delight,” was one of his most outstanding achievements.
“Tom considered getting a role on the Netflix series “Queer Eye” a career high point. He enjoyed the attention and told anyone who would listen about his experience!” It went on.
Tom is survived by one daughter, who also appeared in the Netflix series, two sisters, and other relatives, in addition to his two grandkids. Jackson’s family expressed gratitude to the medical staff at Kennestone Hospital for providing “care and comfort throughout his final days.”
