Undone is an American adult animated psychological comedy-drama streaming television series produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Kate Purdy, starring Rosa Salazar. The show premiered on September 13, 2019, on Amazon Prime Video, and was praised by critics. It is Amazon’s first animated show for adults and the first to use rotoscoping. Amazon renewed Undone for a second season in November of this year, with the launch date planned for April 29, 2022.
Undone Season 2 Plot
Undone tells the story of a young lady who survives a vehicle accident which changes her perception of time and allows her to reconnect with her father, who died in the same accident.
Undone’s first season focuses on Alma’s coming to terms with her newfound ability, which some refer to as a “gift”. During this time, she learns how to navigate between her spiritual experiences and the real world. However, what is genuine to her? The death of Alma’s father has always been a mystery to her, but as her relationship with time and space changes, she discovers she can use this to learn more about it.
In Season 2, as shown in the trailer, Alma will go even deeper into her mystical journey, which only gets weirder, but that won’t stop her from going. This skill is a mystery, and Alma has to know what it is that makes her so powerful. Together, with Becca’s ability to travel through time, they can accomplish much more. As a result of having both sisters with the ability, they can learn more about their family’s history and their own, which can benefit them emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Who are the Characters in Undone Season 2?
Alma Winograd-Diaz –
Undone’s main character is Alma Winograd-Diaz.
Becca Winograd-Diaz –
Becca Winograd-Diaz is Alma’s younger sister. She got engaged to her long-term boyfriend Reed Hollingsworth, who Alma described as “nice”. However, shortly after she slept with a bartender, and cheated again just a week before her wedding.
Bob Odenkirk –
Robert John Odenkirk is an American actor, writer, director, and producer.
The character Alma Winograd-Diaz (played by Rosa Salazar) is a Mexican-American woman in her late twenties who lives in San Antonio, Texas. After a near-fatal car accident, she learns how to bend and move through time and space, as well as connect with her dead father spiritually. In Season 1, Alma was in a relationship and worked at a daycare, both of which she leaves behind when she goes to Mexico for a spiritual reconnection with her father, who is now in the sky above. During the second season, Alma will continue to explore and discover more about her special gift.
Becca Winograd-Diaz (Angelique Cabral) – This is the character who plays Becca. Her younger sister is Alma and she is named Becca. She is very different from Alma, and she believes that Alma is always cut off from the rest of their family. In Season 1, Becca was engaged to be married. At the end of the season, it all comes to an end. Becca is worried about Alma and follows her to Mexico, despite the fact that she feels she’s going insane. In Season 2, we learn that Becca also learns how to travel back in time.
Camila Diaz (Constance Marie) – Camila is Alma and Becca’s mother and Jacob’s widowed wife. For Alma, there is a sense of mystery in her family from the very beginning. This somehow affects her life.
Bob Odenkirk plays Jacob Winograd, the father of Alma and Becca, and the late husband of Camila. Inexplicably, Jacob, a scientist, died when his children were still very young. Alma and Jacob have had a spiritual connection throughout Season 1, and Jacob has helped Alma understand how his death happened. In season two, the truth-seeking efforts of Jacob and Alma would continue.
There are several returning cast members, including Siddharth Dhananjay as Sam, Kevin Bigley as Reed Hollingsworth, Sheila Vand as Farnaz, Giorgie Luck Vasquez as Young Becca, Luna Marie Katich as Young Alma, Alma Martinez as Rosario, Renee Victor as Abuelita Fabiola, and Holly Fain as Geraldine.

Season 2 of Undone has been confirmed. ‘Undone’ has been renewed for a second season by Amazon in November of 2019. In other words, it has been confirmed that the second season of Undone will be available on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Prime Video made the official announcement of a second season of Undone on November 21st, 2019. We’ll have to wait and see.
