Miller immediately collapsed, and the Bills’ medical staff sprang to help the star. Sean McDermott, Bill’s head coach, also rushed onto the field to check on Miller.
Before being carried off the field, he spent most of the second quarter in the blue medical tent. According to the Bills’ medical staff’s initial report, Miller sustained a knee injury.
Miller’s damage was severe since shortly after, the team declared that he wouldn’t be able to play again.
What Happened to Von Miller: When Will He Recover From His Injury?
Although the extent of Von Miller’s injury is unknown, it is expected that the former Super Bowl MVP will miss a sizable amount of time.
According to the video evidence, Miller most certainly sprained his ACL. He will probably miss one or two games if it is a Grade I sprain.
However, if his injury is more serious, his season is probably done. The Buffalo Bills’ prospects of winning the Super Bowl would suffer greatly if Miller were to be lost for the remainder of the campaign.
The Bills will be crossing their fingers and hoping that the pass rusher’s injury is not as severe as anticipated.
