Olivia Culpo envisioned a long-lasting relationship with Nick Jonas. The 30-year-old model discussed her previous connection with the 30-year-old Jonas in the first episode of TLC’s The Culpo Sisters. In 2015, Culpo and Jonas called it quits after over two years of dating.
Producers of the reality show encouraged Culpo to talk about her friendship with the musician. She said, “I did date Nick and that was a very important experience for me,” before asking, “Do I have to talk about that?”

She said, “I moved to L.A. with him. I had no brand, no money, and I was in love. That was fantastic right, but when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of myself.” She was reflecting on the early stages of their relationship as well as how their breakup affected her.
She continued, “My entire identity was in him, which is a very typical tale of a young person in love. In my apartment, which I couldn’t afford, I simply remember staring up at the ceiling night after night and wondering how I’m going to pay my rent. I believed we were going to get married. I thought about everything.
She admitted, “I couldn’t even buy my food at the time. Since their breakup, Culpo has successfully moved on with San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, whom she started dating in 2019. Jonas is also married to actress Priyanka Chopra.

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and football star Danny Amendola and Tim Tebow were among the athletes Culpo dated before making an exception for McCaffrey. She told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month that she doesn’t have some of the worries she did with other athletes with her current boyfriend, McCaffrey, 26.
“He’s just the best, I feel like he is truly all that I could ever wish for,” she added. I believe that was the reason—no offence—why I didn’t want to date an athlete because of their reputation.
He just comes from a terrific family, Culpo continued. We share a lot of things in common with that. I believe that a person’s parents truly reveal a lot about their character, which is why I adore his parents so much. They get along really well.
The former Miss Universe is “excited” about what’s to come for them and made sure to make fun of how “beautiful” her boyfriend is in an interview with ET, where she also said that McCaffrey has a “good head on his shoulders” and that the two are planning their future.
“His favourite version of me is zit cream, hair down, and no makeup,” Culpo stated on the first episode of The Culpo Sisters. Culpo also becomes emotional on the TLC series as she comments on a tragic former relationship. It’s clear to assume the star athlete is a fan of Culpo’s true self.
“I constantly worry about the future. I was with someone who did really nasty, horrible things. I always anticipated by the time I was 30 I’d be married [and] have kids. In every way, I was made to feel inferior to other humans. She acknowledged through tears, “I’ve never talked about it before.
Culpo was involved with NFL player Danny Amendola on and off, which led to a public breakup, but it’s unclear exactly whom the influencer is addressing in the tearful confessional. The Culpo Sisters made their television debut on TLC on November 7 at 9 PM ET/PT, and the next day, it was also streamable on discovery+.
