Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura collaborated on the manga series Blue Lock (, Bur Rokku in Japanese). Since August of last year, it has been serialised in Kodansha’s Weekly Shnen. In 2022, an anime television series by Eight Bit will air.
In 2021, the shnen manga Blue Lock was named the winner of the 45th Kodansha Manga Award.
This year, Japan’s national football team finished 16th in the FIFA World Cup in Russia. Ego Jinpachi, the soccer enigma, is hired by the Japanese Football Union as a consequence of this. Blue Lock, a training programme meant to become the world’s finest egotist striker, is his grand plan to lead Japan to greatness.
No one will ever be allowed to represent Japan again if they fail Blue Lock. In order to become the greatest player in the world, Yoichi Isagi, an unknown high school student, joins the programme.
As popular manga series like Demon Slayer, Haikyuu!!, and The Promised Neverland reach the end of their respective runs, other series will have to step in to fill the void left by their detractors in the anime/manga fandom. With the release of an anime adaptation, the video games Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen are rising in popularity.
More people are turning to sports manga and anime, with Haikyuu!! being one of the most prominent examples. There may be a new force in this genre if one has been publishing regularly over the last two years and isn’t associated with The Wall Street Journal.

Blue Lock Storyline
Japanese soccer officials ponder their present situation and decide to engage the intriguing and eccentric coach Jinpachi Ego to help them reach their World Cup goal. A prison-like institution where three hundred brilliant strikers from high schools around Japan are separated and pitted against each other is created by Jinpachi, who believes that Japan has lacked an egoistic striker eager for goals.
Those who lose in Blue Lock will be permanently barred from the national team, and the only survivor will be awarded the position of striker.
Yoichi Isagi, a striker who failed to lead his high school soccer team to the national tournament, has been chosen for this daring mission. Because of his selfishness, he could not help but ponder whether the outcome would have been different had he scored instead of passing to a teammate.
As a result of the Blue Lock Project, Yoichi is eager to make the most of this rare chance to prove his doubters wrong and lead Japan to World Cup victory.
Those who missed the 2018 FIFA World Cup may catch up on the latest instalment of Blue Lock, a fresh soccer storey that combines a variety of shonen elements to create a binge-worthy read. Since its release in Japan, it has been met with a warm greeting and strong sales, and word of mouth has spread throughout the globe. Here’s all you need to know about Blue Lock, which has become a hot topic among anime fans.

Final Lines
One Piece and Hajime no Ippo are the longest-running and most well-known manga and anime series, both having almost or over 1,000 chapters. Even the lengths of Naruto, Bleach, and Dragon Ball Z are now unfathomable to modern audiences. As a current long-term series with more than 400 chapters, Haikyuu!! stands out.
If Muneyuki Kaneshiro chooses, Blue Lock may be able to wrap up a satisfactory plot in just over 300 chapters, which is about where My Hero Academia may wind up if Kaneshiro choose to go that route. I believe this is the next “long-term” solution.
