Garrett first presents himself as an ally before admitting to betraying Kingston and working with him for years to advance his company. The group succeeds in taking Kingston’s personal K9, which has videos that implicate him.
A clash breaks out, exposing Kingston’s latent abilities. By controlling the robot with her special talents, Pavani saves Connor. With evidence in hand, the pair flees, exposing Kingston’s depravity and spreading its word. After three months, Lincoln City is gradually recovering.
Reopening the community center, accusations of corruption against Kingston, and changes to make up for impacted areas are all happening at the same time.
By the time the film ends, Garrett is incarcerated and has learned of the inquiry into Psyke’s increased flow. His enigmatic smile raises questions about his involvement and paves the way for possible developments in Code 8 third installment.
