This horror, thriller, fantasy, science fiction TV series, created by Bede Blake and Robert Butler, premiered on CBBC in the United Kingdom and DHX Media in Canada on October 31, 2017 (exactly on Halloween). You may, however, watch the TV show on Netflix.
On March 28, 2017, the first season was announced, and on April 24, 2019, the second season was published.
The show is an anthology series, which means that each episode features a different story. Because this is a children’s horror show, the creators wanted to combine science fiction, horror, suspense, mystery, fantasy, and adventure to enthrall young viewers.
Creeped Out has a total of 23 episodes, each lasting approximately 25 minutes, making it ideal for a horror binge-watching session. Each episode relates a different horror story, but they are all connected by The Curious, a kid (or girl) in a mask who appears at the opening and end of each episode and is known as the story collector.’
Bede Blake and Robert Butler, the show’s creators, admitted that Steven Spielberg and Amazing Stories were influences.
Personally, I think this TV show is fantastic for fans of horror, suspense, and science fiction. It’s more like a children’s version of Black Mirror, with certain episodes demonstrating how technology may go wrong if not used appropriately. However, despite the fact that it is marketed as a horror series for children aged seven and up, I believe parts of the episodes are too terrifying and dark for children, so make sure you supervise your children while they watch it.
Furthermore, other sites use a similar scoring system for this show, with IMDB giving it a 6.7 out of 10 rating and Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 67 percent average audience rating.
Will they continue with Creeped Out season 3 following the success of the first two seasons?
Creeped Out Season 3 Renewed or Cancelled?
Despite the fact that Creeped Out has established a large following and achieved positive ratings and viewership, neither the BBC nor DHX Media have mentioned anything about Creeped Out season 3. It took 18 months for the second season to be released after the first. Considering that it has been more than 18 months since the second season, the prospects for Creeped Out season 3 remain grim.
However, neither of the networks has officially canceled the show, so there is still hope, especially considering the show’s popularity. Alternatively, even if they do not renew the show, other networks may be interested in picking it up and bringing it back to life. Netflix (Haunted) might be able to pull it off as an original series.
And, if there is a renewal announcement for Creeped Out season 3 in the near future, we should expect to see it at the very least by the end of 2022, if not sooner.

What Is Creeped Out Season 3 About?
Creeped Out is a horror anthology series with completely distinct stories and plots in each episode. But they’re all connected to The Curious, and each narrative contains aspects of terror, mystery, and suspense.
It reminds us of Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected, which aired from 1979 to 1988.
There are stories in the first season about a child who turns her parents into puppets (Slapstick), a monster looking for a host in human bodies to live (Cat Food), and time travel (A Boy Called Red).
In the second season, there are stories about a youngster who wastes his entire life playing video games (One More Minute), a lice infestation (Itchy), the dangers of relying too much on digital voice assistants (Help), and a psycho Santa Claus (Psycho Santa Claus) (Splinta Claws).
We might see a similar premise in Creeped Out season 3, but with new and fresh horror stories.

Creeped Out Season 3 Characters
The Curious (William Romain), a mystery man whose face is constantly hidden behind a mask, appears at the start and end of each episode. His declared goal is to amass a collection of stories. In the episodes “Slapstick” and “The Call,” Karter Bay is mentioned, and Zucco’s Pizzeria is mentioned in “Trolled,” “No Filter”‘,” “Marti,” and “Kindle sticks.”
“It’s designed to be a developing urban legend,” co-creator Bede Blake remarked of The Curious. You have no idea what’s hidden beneath that mask… In terms of the story, he isn’t a danger to the kids. Because he is inherently curious, he has a name. He’s not someone who wants to hurt you. He’s a bystander.”
Creeped Out has no premise for an ensemble cast, as an anthology series should, and the performers in the principal roles change from episode to episode. The figure of ‘The Curious,’ played by William Romain, serves as the one unifying factor. Most likely, this is your first exposure to his name, confirming that Creeped Out does not sell itself solely on the strength of its star-studded cast.
In the last five episodes of the first season, William Romain is replaced by Jaiden Cannatelli, a much more experienced child voice actor who had previously appeared as various voices in The Adventures of The Napkin Man and Space Ranger Roger, has since made appearances in shows like Murdoch Mysteries, and currently plays Cinnamon in the new Blue’s Clues and You (2019).
In the case of ‘The Curious,’ it’s worth noting that the narrator’s character is not the single helmsman. The narrating voiceovers in the first season were done by Aurora Aksnes and Victoria Diamond (Shed No Fear, Kindlesticks). As the only connecting features between each season’s episodic clusters, one would anticipate that these voice actors would reprise their parts for a second season, yet this has not been the case.
‘The Curious,’ despite being the show’s famous center of the narrative frame, is a disguised enigma — allowing casters to switch actors with ease. ‘Curious’ was voiced by Lukas Engel in season 2.

What’s the Big Deal With Creeped Out?
Creeped Out is a collection of enthralling, enticing, and mysterious stories. Each episode tells a new story set in a different time and location, with different characters navigating the unknown. A collection of mesmerizing, enchanting, and interesting tales that will send shivers up the spine. Various characters must make their way through the enigmatic.
Each episode of Creeped Out features a different setting, scenario, and cast of characters, while some details tie the stories together. This concept is comparable to the American television show “Amazing Stories” in that important aspects would move and change practically every episode.

Last Thoughts
Creeped Out is a classic anthology show in which self-contained short stories with a few common themes are acted out on TV.
It’s a show in which each episode is a standalone story with its own cast of people, with a mystery element and a few light horror elements thrown in for good measure. The exception is that some of these episodes are set in the same location, and every episode features the presence of ‘The Curious,’ a disguised man who acts as a story collector,’ providing a layer of the narrative frame to all of the stories.
In terms of the overall tone of the show, it occasionally harkens back to British TV legends in the genre, such as Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected (1979-1988). However, Bede Blake’s show lacks Tales’ self-aware humorous connotations and crazy tendencies; its closest comparison is to Steven Spielberg’s ‘Amazing Stories,’ which aired about the same time as Tales of The Unexpected.
Season 2 of Creeped Out premiered on BBC on April 24, 2019, in the United Kingdom, and on Netflix on October 4, 2019, in the United States and internationally.
DHX Media and the BBC have said nothing regarding the show’s future, despite the fact that it has become fairly popular. The second season took the creators more than 18 months to complete. Keeping that in mind, there is still time before the show’s renewal is announced by the networks.
The show, we believe, has a decent possibility of returning. Even if it is renewed, don’t expect the third season of Creeped Out before 2021.
