A Marvel Comics character of the same name, Marvel’s Daredevil, or just Daredevil, is the subject of a Netflix original series created by Drew Goddard and based on the character’s adventures in Marvel Comics. To prepare for The Defenders crossover miniseries, this is the first in a series of show .
It is being co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios with DeKnight Productions managing season one and Goddard Textiles handling season one and two respectively. Steven S. DeKnight was the showrunner for the first season, followed by Doug Petrie, Marco Ramirez, and Erik Oleson for the second and third seasons, respectively.
While Daredevil was a dark superhero series when it aired on Netflix in 2015, it was the first of its kind. I think it’s excellent for the viewers because it shows that a TV show doesn’t have to get worse the longer it continues, but it can also transcend expectations and go beyond what is written in the comic strips on which it’s based.
